The earliest surviving examples of Long-stitch originated in Europe and are often found in limp formats: parchment or vellum with occasionally reinforced spines. This structure even works on books entirely composed of fabric. The placement of sewing stations (holes) can even be so modified as to include simple graphics or text; A door of creative opportunities opens when the Long-stitch binding is grasped!
All Classes are held at Editions, located at 6520 5th Ave S #114 Seattle, WA 98108. Go through the red door (or big white door if it’s open) and turn right past the blacksmiths.
