In this workshop, you'll design and carve winter-themed stamps, then use them to print beautiful custom gift wrap that will make your holiday presents one-of-a-kind.
What You'll Learn:
Basic principles of pattern design and composition
Safe handling and use of carving tools
Techniques for carving detailed designs in rubber blocks
Methods for achieving clean, consistent prints
Creative approaches to layering stamps and colors
Tips for creating coordinated gift wrap sets
Materials Provided: Each participant will receive a complete stamp-carving kit to take home, including:
Two 3x4" rubber carving blocks
Carving tool with multiple tips
Perfect for both beginners and experienced crafters, this workshop offers a relaxing creative environment where you can explore your artistic vision while creating something both beautiful and practical. Instructor Sarah Maker will guide you through each step of the process, from initial design sketches to final printing techniques.
Please wear clothes that can get slightly messy, though aprons will be provided. Hot beverages will be served to keep your creative energy flowing.
Space is limited to 4 participants to ensure individual attention and a comfortable working environment. Early registration is recommended as this workshop typically fills quickly.
All Materials provided. We will have a variety of papers to fold from and bone folders are available but you are welcome to bring your own as well!
All Classes are held at Editions, located at 6520 5th Ave S #104 Seattle, WA 98108. Ring the doorbell by the red door and someone will let you in.

Cancellation Policy
Withdrawals 15 or more days before the beginning of a workshop will receive a full refund of tuition and supply fee, minus a $25 processing charge.
Withdrawals 4-14 days prior to the workshop will receive a 50% refund of tuition and supply fee, minus a $25 processing charge.
No refunds are possible for withdrawals 3 or fewer days in advance of the first day of class, or for no-shows.
Exceptions to this policy are only made for documented medical emergencies.
