Leather Longstitch Binding

March 23, 2019

10:00 am - 2:00 pm, Saturday

Long-stitch bookbinding is a very simple binding method that doesn’t take long to master. It’s a great way to start binding with leather without the complexities that come with fine leather bindings.

In this class, we will learn learn about paper grain, design long-stitch sewing patterns, and bind a book with a soft leather cover.

Sarah Mottaghinejad began bookbinding in 2007 and letterpress printing in 2010. She runs Editions in Seattle, the AreYouBookEnough monthly bookbinding challenge on Instagram, and a house with 3 children.

You can visit Sarah’s Instagram to see her current book arts work.

Share the love—you get a $10 refund for every person who signs up because of you!

This class must have at least 3 people to run.
