Printers- and Poets-in-Residence
Editions is offering four year-long residencies for two Seattle poets and two Seattle printmakers.
The poets and print artists will form two pairs to collaborate on a chapbook and a broadside each. The year will end with a gallery show and poetry reading. The residency includes unlimited access to the studio, but no stipend. The printers and poets will each get part of the run of chapbooks and broadsides, which they are free to sell. They are also free to work on independent projects in the studio over the course of the year.
Paper and ink are provided, but artists and poets are expected to work with the studio director on a Kickstarter campaign promoting the work produced.
